About Us (Rosie)
With a hankering for a life with colour and seasonal blooms, in April 2015, Rose Tinted was created. It started in the garden shed which we soon outgrew, moving to a pop up flower shop, a studio space and now our current store in Ponsonby Central. There we create bespoke florals for weddings, events, installations and special occasions. We also host floral workshops for hen's parties, events and soirees.
As well as flowers, we're really passionate about being kind to the earth. The floral world appears wonderful but we're constantly fighting mountains of plastic waste which comes with lots of the flowers. We've got a few initiatives which you can read about in Viva and Remix.

Whenever you purchase something online, there are always a couple of questions that need answering, below are our most commonly asked questions but if there's something specific you need to know, call our Ponsonby store on 022 455 9024 or email info@rosetintedflowers.co.nz
-What days / times are you open?
Our Ponsonby store is open 9-5, Monday to Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday.
-What days can you deliver flowers?
We deliver bouquets and arrangements from Monday - Saturday.
-Do you do same day delivery?
Yes, as long as you order your flowers by 1pm Monday - Friday or before 10am on Saturday.
-Where do you deliver to?
We deliver flowers all around Auckland, from Cockle Bay to Mairangi Bay and Waiuku to Papatoetoe.
-How much is delivery?
For Auckland CBD Suburbs (within 10km) it's $10.00. This includes Auckland CBD, Eden Terrace, Freemans Bay, Grafton, Grey Lynn, Herne Bay, Kingsland, Mount Albert, Mount Eden, Point Chevalier, Ponsonby, Saint Marys Bay, Waterview, Western Springs, Westmere, Epsom, Parnell
Within 20 km form our store is $17.75. That includes Mt Roskill, New Windsor, Avondale, New Lynn, Henderson, Three Kings, Hillsborough, Lynfield, Blockhouse Bay, Green Bay, Ellerslie, Kohimarama, Meadowbank, Stonefields, Glen Innes, Panmure, St Helliers, Northcote, Birkenhead, Beach Haven, Hillcrest, Wairau Valley, Milford, Takapuna
Within 30 km from our store is $25.50. That's Mairangi Bay, including Devonport, Forrest Hill, Sunnynook and Mairangi Bay, Mangere, Waiuku, Waimauku, Greenhithe, Wattle Downs, Manukau, Manurewa, Karaka, Massey, Pukekohe, Papakura, Kingseat, East Tamaki, Flat Bush, Howick, Botany, Ramarama, Titirangi, Swanson, Riverhead, Hobsonville, West Harbour, Helensville, Kaukapakapa, Takanini.
Anything further than 30kms is Rural $33.00

-Can you do a 1 hour service?
Yes but only in Auckland CBD and the central suburbs, it's $20.
-What if I select the wrong delivery method?
That's no problem, we can organise for the difference to be paid (or refunded).
-What time can we deliver?
We generally deliver between 9am - 5pm but if you want your order delivered by a certain time (or if the recipient is leaving work early), please let us know when you order the flowers and we'll do our best to make it happen.
-Can we make your order bespoke?
Yes absolutely. If there's a particular colour or flower you know the recipient will love, let us know by writing it in the notes section of the website. If the flower is available, we'll include it in the bouquet.
-Do we use seasonal flowers?
Yes. We only use seasonal flowers and try to use local growers where we can.
-Can I add a note?
Yes absolutely, at the checkout there's a notes section for you to add a note and let us know what day you need them delivered.
-Do you deliver on public holidays?
Unfortunately not, our couriers have the day off but our Ponsonby Central store is open on most public holidays if you want to collect flowers.
-There can be a lot of plastic waste in the floral industry, how do you minimise that?
We're in the process of reducing our plastic waste to pretty much zero. We've ditched plastic bags (to wrap our flower stems when they're sent out on a courier) and using biodegradable ones instead. We're also taking all our plastic waste to the soft plastic recycle centre at Countdown. We'll also be phasing out floral foam too.
