Mel and Arran - from Mahurangi to Matakana

Mel is a gal who knows what she wants! I first got to know Mel through her work, we'd created some florals for the office so when she got in touch asking us to create her wedding flowers, I was pretty chuffed. Mel even brought posies to send to each of her maids, asking them to be part of her wedding **awww**

Armed with the most cohesive mood board I've ever seen, I knew exactly what Mel had in mind - lots of dusky pinks, sandy beige, texture and eucalyptus for days. When we delivered the bouquets, Mel was just about in tears (I love making them cry muahahaha).

Remember when that storm came through in late February? Unfortunately it coincided with Mel and Arran's nuptuals but luckily for them, the weater reports had blown it out of proportion and all they had was fluffy grey clouds which made the lighting impeccable. Their ceremony was in Mahurangi with a view over the hills to the ocean, framed with florals on wine barrels. Then further north to the Stables in Matakana for the reception and an evening of celebrations.
